Did your Kona have any other symptoms when it wouldn't start, like the engine light on or any trouble codes?

Yes, the check engine light was on, and the ECU showed codes for low voltage and communication errors. Get it scanned professionally. Mine ended up being the battery connection at the workshop.

I checked the battery connections like you said, and after cleaning and tightening them, the Kona started. The scan confirmed the connection issue. Cost me 155€. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Kona Hybrid. Check your battery cable connections really well. Make sure they're clean and tight. A bad connection can cause weird electrical problems and stop the engine from starting.
