Air-fuel ratio... hmm, I didn't specifically check that, but given the increased fuel consumption, it wouldn't surprise me. Where exactly did you find the problem in yours? Was it visibly obvious, or did you need to do some serious sensor testing?

Nah, I'm not that technical either. To be honest, after a bit of poking around, I figured it was beyond my skills. Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a defective connection to the oxygen sensor. They sorted it out pretty quickly. I think the bill was around 95€. I would recommend the same. Better safe than sorry!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Kona. Check engine light and everything. Was the air-fuel ratio acting up too? I remember something about vehicle emissions being affected when mine went bad.
