Kuga AC Problem

Hi, my 2017 Ford Kuga diesel has an AC problem. Getting an error in the system, AC isn't cooling, won't switch on, and a warning light is on the dash. Mileage is 211666 km. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. Had similar AC unit issues with my old Renault Megane, but the symptoms were slightly different. Was there a refrigerant leak or any work done on the system recently?

No, no refrigerant leak that I can see, and no recent work done. Could it be the AC compressor?

Could be the compressor, but with those symptoms, it might be more. My Renault AC issues ended up being the AC control unit. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop - might save you money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a garage, and you were right, it was the AC control unit. Repair cost 980€.
