Thanks! I checked the fuse box, but everything looked fine. I'll check the connections under the steering wheel more closely. Anything in particular I should be looking for when I check the connections?

When I had that issue, it was a defective cable or plug connection. Give it a good look, but I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to run proper diagnostics and pinpoint the exact problem. Could save you time and potential headaches.

I took it to the shop for diagnostics. It was a defective cable or plug connection of the cruise control component. Repair costs: 95€. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Kuga. Check the fuse box first; sometimes a blown fuse can cause the whole system to shut down. Have you checked the connections under the steering wheel? A loose wire there might also be the problem. Diagnostics should reveal more.
