Thanks, I didn't see any battery lights. Any recommendations on how to investigate the inverter?

Diagnosing the inverter yourself can be tricky without special equipment. Given it's a hybrid system with high-voltage, I'd suggest a qualified workshop. They can pinpoint the cause. My fault was degraded high voltage battery components.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop. The diagnostic confirmed the high voltage battery needed component replacement. The repair was 290€.

I had similar issues with my Kuga, though mine isn't a hybrid. The high-voltage system malfunctioned and triggered limp mode a couple of times. Did you see any battery warning lights? Check the inverter too, electrical faults can start there.
