Kuga Hybrid System Readiness Check Error
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Ford Kuga Hybrid owner experienced an incomplete system readiness check with an error displayed on the speedometer, potentially due to recent OBD2 diagnostics. Another Kuga Hybrid owner suggested that the issue might be resolved by resetting the vehicle's computer, which could be done at a workshop. The original issue was resolved with a computer reset, confirming no actual error or repair was needed.

Thanks, it seems fine. Could you tell me more about your experience, especially with the onboard diagnostics?

Sure. The error messages were the same. It looks like the computer needs a reset. I'd recommend a workshop visit so you can pass the emissions test.

Thanks for confirming you've seen this before. I'll book a computer reset. Turns out there was no error, and no repair was needed, so it cost 0€.

Interesting. I drive a Kuga Hybrid too, and I saw something similar after a vehicle inspection. Is your exhaust system working okay?
