No visible damage at all. Everything looks perfectly normal. I mean, it's a luxury car, so I expected more! Where was the issue with your BMW? Was it hard to get to?

In my BMW's case, the disruption was traceable to a faulty connector beneath the seat. Accessing it involved partial disassembly of the seat mechanism, a task best left to seasoned professionals. Therefore, in your Ford Kuga's circumstance, I would strongly advocate seeking counsel from a qualified workshop.

You were spot on, took it to a workshop and it was indeed a loose connector under the seat. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!

A defective cable or plug connection could very well be the culprit. I encountered a similar predicament with my previous vehicle, a BMW 5 series. The lumbar support function ceased operation, also accompanied by an error code. Is there any indication of physical damage to the switch or surrounding trim?
