Kuga Overvoltage Error
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Ford Kuga Hybrid is experiencing a persistent overvoltage error, accompanied by multiple fault codes and intermittent system failures. The issue may be linked to a weak battery, which appears to discharge while the car is off, suggesting a potential power surge or ECU problem. A defective battery was identified as the cause, and replacing it resolved the issue.

Yeah, the battery seems fine, but it looks like its discharging while the car is sitting turned off. Could it be a voltage regulator issue?

Possible. But in my case, the battery was heavily discharged and defective. Check it out at a workshop. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight! Indeed, it ended up being a defective battery. Cost me 290€ to replace. I appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Kuga. A bunch of electrical faults and overvoltage warnings. Did you check the car battery?
