Thanks for your reply. Yes, I've tried deleting and re-pairing multiple times. The software is current. I didn't write down the specific error code. Does the error code ring a bell?

Interesting. I have a Kuga Hybrid too, and I had an identical problem a while back. It was really annoying. First, have you tried completely deleting the phone from the car's system and re-pairing it? Sometimes that fixes it. Also, check if the software is current. What error code are you seeing?
