Kuga Smartphone Connection Problem

I'm experiencing function restrictions with my 2021 Ford Kuga Hybrid (65800 km). Specifically, the smartphone cannot be connected. Error is stored in the error memory. Has anyone encountered similar electrical faults?

Interesting. I have a Kuga Hybrid too, and I had an identical problem a while back. It was really annoying. First, have you tried completely deleting the phone from the car's system and re-pairing it? Sometimes that fixes it. Also, check if the software is current. What error code are you seeing?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I've tried deleting and re-pairing multiple times. The software is current. I didn't write down the specific error code. Does the error code ring a bell?

Yeah, the error code sounds really familiar. I spent hours trying to fix it myself. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just take it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly. It could be some weird software glitch or a module issue. My workshop mentioned something about incorrect pairing with the end device, so the error code could be that.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were right. It was due to an incorrect pairing issue, like you said. They fixed it with a software adjustment. Repair cost: 45€ Appreciate the help!
