Shuddering, not really. Just the slipping and the error codes. Did yours end up being the converter?

Yes, the lock-up clutch in my converter was shot. Best to get it checked out by a reputable transmission workshop; sounds like you're heading for the same expensive repair.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I took it to a shop, and they've verified it's the torque converter. Repair cost is estimated at 2120€. Ouch!
