Laguna ABS and Steering Problems

Hey, I'm getting seriously stressed out by my 2002 Renault Laguna with a gasoline engine! The tire pressure low warning keeps popping up, and now the ABS lamp is on too! What's worse, the steering wheel vibrates like crazy, and it feels like I'm wrestling a bear to turn the wheel – the power steering is definitely struggling. Could it be related to a faulty tire sensor? Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue on my Laguna. Have you checked all your tires for any visible damage or punctures? Also, when the tire pressure warning comes on, does it specify which tire is losing pressure, or is it a general warning?

Thanks for the quick reply! I've visually checked the tires, and they seem fine. No nails or anything obvious sticking out. The warning is general – it doesn't say which tire is the problem. Could it be a slow leak somewhere?

It's possible, but with the ABS light and power steering issues alongside the tire pressure warning, I'd suspect more than just a slow leak. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. They can check the tire pressure sensors and the ABS system to pinpoint the exact cause.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the shop. Turns out a valve in one of the tires was defective and causing pressure loss, which messed with the ABS and power steering. New valve and sensor, and I'm 280€ lighter, but at least it's fixed!
