Laguna AC Compressor Fault

Hi, I'm having an A/C problem with my 2009 Renault Laguna gasoline engine. The air conditioning won't engage; no cold air, and an error code about the A/C compressor is stored. I suspect undervoltage, but where should I start?

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Laguna. Have you checked the pressure switch or the AC relay? Might also be worth a look at the belt tensioner. A refrigerant leak could also cause this.

No specific code, just the same generic A/C compressor fault. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They found a refrigerant leak after thorough testing, and some electrical issues.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to a local shop, and it turned out to be a faulty AC relay combined with a slightly loose belt. Total cost was 240€ for the repair and refrigerant refill.
