Laguna Blower Motor Issue

Interesting, I hadn't considered the fan speed controller. Where is that usually located? Is there any easy way to test it before ripping the dashboard apart to get to the blower motor?

On my Astra, it was near the blower motor itself, inside the dash. Honestly, without proper testing equipment, it's hard to say for sure. If you're getting a blower motor error, and you're not experienced with electrical diagnostics, you might be better off taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to pinpoint the problem quickly.

Thanks for the input! Took it to a garage, and you were spot on – the blower motor was dead. Got it replaced, and the whole thing cost me 365€. At least the problem is resolved and I have fresh air again.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. Did you check the fan speed controller, sometimes called a resistor pack? That can also cause the blower to stop working entirely, even if it throws a blower motor error.
