Laguna Fuel Pump Connector Issue

Bloody fuel pump on my 2003 Renault Laguna diesel! Engine won't start, stalls like mad, and the check engine light's glaring at me. Runs rough as guts when it does run, drinks fuel like it's free, and now there's an error code too. Think it's the pump itself?

I had something similar happen with my Laguna! Same symptoms. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the fuel pump? That was the culprit for me.

Seriously? Just the connections? Where exactly were the dodgy connections? I'm pulling my hair out here.

Yes, that's correct! The connection to the fuel pump itself was indeed faulty, as it had come loose and was quite dirty. I recommend you take your vehicle to a workshop as soon as possible so a mechanic can take care of it.

You're a legend! It was the fuel pump connector, just like you said. Cleaned it, tightened it, and she's purring like a kitten now. Cost me 95€ for the parts. Cheers!
