Laguna rear sun blind failure

Hello! I had a similar issue with my Laguna – thought I'd share my experience. Is the motor making any noise at all, or is it completely silent? When mine failed, it would make a faint buzzing sound, but wouldn't move. Seems to be a weak point in these cars. I recommend some caution as this kind of issue can be tricky.

Yep, silent motor was the culprit for me. I went to a trusted workshop. They confirmed it was the motor after some diagnostics. Given the inconvenience and risk of damaging something else, I'd advise against trying to fix it yourself unless you're very confident. I think you'll find it's the same issue.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to a local mechanic, and they quoted 330€ for the repair, which they say is the motor. So I've given them the go-ahead. Appreciate the advice!
