Laguna Rear Window Heating Issue

The light does come on, but the window stays frosted. I checked the fuse box, but I couldn't find any blown fuses. The windshield heating is barely working, so I'm wondering if the rear window defroster repair will solve the other auto defrost issue. Any ideas?

Yeah, that sounds very similar to what happened with my thermal window. The light came on, but zero heat. In my case, the workshop found it was a battery issue causing all sorts of electrical gremlins. Honestly, with those symptoms, you're best off getting it checked out by a professional. They can properly diagnose the charging system.

Thanks for the insight! Turns out you were right. I got the battery replaced, and the rear window heating and windshield heating are back to normal. Cost me 290€. Appreciate the advice!

Hey, I have a Laguna as well. I had something similar happen last winter. First, check the fuse for the defroster. If that's fine, does your rear window defroster light up on the dashboard when you turn it on? If not, it could still be the battery or even the alternator not charging properly. But I am not sure.
