Laguna wont start

Laguna here. I had a similar issue a while back with the same symptoms. Did you check the error codes? Mine threw a weird one related to the fuel pump relay.

Error codes, huh? I haven't checked those yet, didn't think it was that serious. Was it throwing a 'check engine' or 'engine fault' message too? Was it a pain to diagnose?

Yeah, engine light was on. After messing around for an afternoon I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quick. Probably best if you want to save the headache.

It was indeed the battery cable connections! Cleaning them up got it fired right up. Workshop visit confirmed it and cost me 155€, not too bad. Thanks for the heads up!
