LandCruiser blower motor failure

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2017 Toyota LandCruiser (diesel engine). The blower motor just stopped working. I scanned for errors and I'm getting an AUC sensor fault, only 85024 km on the clock! Could a faulty cabin air sensor really stop the whole blower? I read that the cable or plug connection could be defective. Has anyone experienced this? It's driving me nuts!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my BMW a while back. The climate control went haywire because of a faulty air quality sensor. Does your LandCruiser have auto recirculation?

Yeah, it does have auto recirculation. So, if the AUC sensor is faulty, it could actually kill the blower motor completely? Was it the same on your BMW? Did the blower motor stop?

Correct. The system probably thinks the air is toxic and shuts everything down as a safety measure. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. I think a broken wire is a plausible cause. That was my issue as well.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Turns out you were spot on! It was a faulty connection to the AUC sensor. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
