LandCruiser Coolant Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2019 LandCruiser diesel with 21,010 km experienced low coolant levels, a check engine light, and an error code, with the reservoir nearly empty and no visible leaks. Initially suspecting the water pump, the issue was resolved after a workshop pressure test identified a small leak in a hose, which was then replaced. The suggestion to check for air pockets led to the discovery of the leak, guiding the solution.

Air pockets in a closed system? How would that even happen?

Yeah, closed system. I know, right? But the workshop found some. Topped it off, bled the system, problem solved. Could be worth a look before chasing ghosts.

Workshop found a small leak, pressure tested and located it. Replaced a hose. 52€. Thanks for the air pocket tip, got me thinking along the right lines.

Had similar with my old Volvo. Coolant light, but no mayo in the oil, no steam, nothing obvious. You checked for air pockets?
