LandCruiser intake air temperature sensor issue

Hey, my 2015 LandCruiser diesel is acting up. Got about 191944 km on it. Check engine light comes on and off, power loss, and runs rough. Diagnostic tool says it's the intake air temperature sensor. Could that be causing all this?

I had something similar with my 2018 Volvo XC60 diesel. Check engine light, sluggish performance, the works. Intake air temperature sensor error kept popping up. Have you noticed any changes in fuel consumption?

I haven't measured exactly, but I think fuel consumption has gone up a bit. How did you fix the issue with your Volvo, especially the intake air temperature sensor?

The symptoms were similar, but my Volvo had a faulty sensor connection, giving wrong readings and triggering the error. Given your diagnostic result and description, the intake air temperature sensor itself is probably the problem. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. They can test the sensor properly.
