LandCruiser OBD2 Readiness Monitors
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Toyota LandCruiser with a petrol engine showed incomplete system readiness after an OBD2 scan, despite having low mileage. The issue arose after clearing error codes, which reset the readiness monitors. The suggested solution was to drive the vehicle through various conditions to allow the monitors to complete their cycles. After a week of mixed driving, the readiness monitors reset without requiring repairs.

Yeah, I cleared the ECU when I pulled the initial codes. You reckon that's all it is? Just needs more drive cycles to reset the onboard diagnostics for the emissions test and exhaust system?

Yup, that was it for me. If it's still not ready after a week of mixed driving, then I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can force the readiness monitors to run.

Drove it for a week, and the readiness monitors have finally reset. Seems the OBD2 read did cause an issue, but no repair was necessary and it cost me 0€.

I had something similar happen with my LandCruiser. Did you recently clear the ECU? Clearing the codes can reset the readiness monitors, and they need to run through their cycles before they're 'ready' again. Just drive it for a few days, doing different types of driving (highway, city etc.).
