LandCruiser passenger seat unresponsive

I have a LandCruiser as well, and faced a similar problem with the passenger seat. The seat adjustment was not possible, and there was an error message. I'm pretty sure it was the battery!

Could you provide a bit more detail about what you experienced? Was it completely dead, or were there any other electrical issues at the same time? Also, what error message did you get?

It was pretty similar to what you describe. The seat was completely dead. I had no other issues, so it wasn't a fuse. I took it directly to the workshop as I'm not that experienced with car electrics. They told me the same thing: battery was heavily discharged and potentially defective.

That confirms my suspicion. I'll check the battery and get it replaced if necessary. Ended up going to the shop. The problem was indeed the battery! The repair cost me 290€.
