Latio automatic lock failure
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Latio experienced a failure in its automatic locking system, with neither the remote nor the door switch functioning. The issue was suspected to be related to a faulty door contact signal. A similar problem was resolved by addressing a dodgy connection in the wiring harness inside the door. Upon inspection by a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a defective plug connection, which was repaired, restoring normal function.

Thanks for the tip! Which cable connections exactly? Are we talking about the ones inside the door, near the door latch, or somewhere else?

Yes, the ones inside the door, behind the door panel. To be honest, I'm not great with car electrics, so I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. It could be worth getting it checked.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed a defective plug connection. Repair cost me 95€. Everything is working normally again.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue on my Latio. The automatic locks went haywire. It turned out to be a dodgy connection in the wiring harness for the door. Have you had a look at the cable connections?
