Latio rail pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Nissan Latio diesel is experiencing issues with the check engine light, engine stalling at idle, and reduced power. Diagnostics suggest a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. The problem is likely due to a defective pressure sensor, as confirmed by another individual with a similar issue. Replacing the sensor resolved the problem.

Yes, the error code indicates a problem with the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit. What was the resolution in your case? Was it indeed the sensor?

Yeah, it was the pressure sensor for me too. Get it checked at a workshop to be sure, but symptoms seem identical.

Thank you for confirming. I'll take it to the workshop. The rail pressure sensor was indeed defective and was replaced, with the repair costing 240€. The problem is now solved.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Latio. Is it throwing any specific error codes related to fuel pressure?
