Latio rail pressure sensor issue

I am experiencing a problem with my 2004 Nissan Latio diesel. The check engine light illuminates, the engine stalls at idle, and engine power is reduced. Diagnostics point to a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. The vehicle has 73099 km on the clock. Could this be a defective pressure sensor?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Latio. Is it throwing any specific error codes related to fuel pressure?

Yes, the error code indicates a problem with the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit. What was the resolution in your case? Was it indeed the sensor?

Yeah, it was the pressure sensor for me too. Get it checked at a workshop to be sure, but symptoms seem identical.

Thank you for confirming. I'll take it to the workshop. The rail pressure sensor was indeed defective and was replaced, with the repair costing 240€. The problem is now solved.
