Latio remote locking and starting issues
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Latio owner is experiencing issues with remote locking and starting, suspecting a problem with the bumper antenna. Another person with a similar experience suggests checking the antenna connections for loose or corroded cables. The antenna is typically located behind the bumper, which can be difficult to access. Thanks for the tip! I'll check the antenna connections. Where is the antenna located? I'm not sure where to start looking. Is it easy to get to?

It's usually behind the bumper, which isn't easy to get to. After fiddling with it for an afternoon, I took it to a workshop. It was a defective plug connection on the antenna. They sorted it out quickly.

Appreciate the advice! It sounds like my antenna is the problem. I think I'll take it to the shop and have them fix it rather than messing with it myself. They quoted me around 95€, so hopefully it fixes everything. Thanks again!

That sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Latio. The radio signal was all over the place, and the keyless entry became unreliable. Have you checked the antenna connections? It could be a loose or corroded cable. That's where I'd start.
