Latitude Diesel Injector Drift Compensation

The air filters are relatively new, and I consistently use premium diesel. The error persists despite multiple clearing attempts, suggesting a more fundamental issue. What error codes did you get and what diagnostic steps did you take? I'm keen to see if your experience matches mine.

The error codes were similar, pointing towards injection issues and drift compensation. Honestly, after checking the obvious things, I bit the bullet and took it to a reputable workshop. They confirmed it was indeed an injector issue. They replaced it and recalibrated the system. It sorted the problem completely. So, whilst I understand wanting to fix it yourself, I'd advise you do the same.

Given the complexities of the fuel injection system and the need for specialized calibration, I'll take your advice and use a qualified workshop. Thanks for sharing your experience; it helped me decide. The workshop confirmed the diagnosis and quoted 515€ for the repair.

I had a similar issue with my Latitude, though it presented slightly differently at first. Rough running, yes, but also a noticeable dip in fuel economy. Have you checked the basics, like air filters and fuel quality? It could be something simple throwing the system off, causing the drift compensation to go haywire. Is the error consistent, or does it clear and then return?
