Latitude Injection System Fault

My 2013 Renault Latitude with a gasoline engine is showing signs of a faulty injection system at 164800 km. I've noticed more fuel consumption, less engine power, stalling at idle, and smoke when accelerating. Diagnostics point to a possible cable or plug issue in the injection system. Has anyone else had this?

I also have a Renault Latitude, though not a 2013 model, and your symptoms sound like an issue I had. My fuel consumption was higher and the engine power decreased. It could be an air leak restricting airflow. Have you checked for hissing or loose connections around the air intake?

Thanks, that's helpful. Can you tell me exactly where to look for air leaks or loose connections? Where did you have problems in the air intake system?

It was hard to find the air leak without special tools. Given your symptoms, I'd suggest taking your Latitude to a workshop for a diagnostic check to find the exact problem. I remember now that they found a defective cable. It's better to let pros handle it.

Thanks for the advice. I took my Latitude to a workshop, and they found a defective cable connection in the injection system, like I thought. The repair cost 95€. I appreciate the help.
