Latitude Intake Air Temperature Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2011 Renault Latitude diesel involves a check engine light and loss of power, with a scan indicating a problem with the intake air temperature sensor. A faulty sensor can indeed cause these symptoms, including rough engine performance. The suggested solution is to have the sensor diagnosed and replaced at a workshop, which resolved the problem in this case.

Yes, the error code definitely pointed to the intake air temperature sensor. Do you think it's really the sensor itself, or could it be something else causing a bad reading?

In my case, it was indeed the intake air temperature sensor. Given your symptoms and the error code, it's highly likely that's your culprit too. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and replaced. It shouldn't be a terribly expensive fix. I paid around 155€ all in.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. It's good to know that it's likely just the sensor and not something more serious. They confirmed it was the intake air temperature sensor and replaced it. All good now!

I had similar issues with my Latitude: reduced power, rough running. Is the error message specifically mentioning the intake air temperature?
