Latitude keyless entry malfunction

I've got a 2011 Renault Latitude with a diesel engine and I'm experiencing a strange issue. The keyless access has stopped working, and my OBD scanner is showing an error related to the door handle electronics. I suspect it might be a faulty cable or a connector. Has anyone else had a similar problem with their Latitude?

Summary of the thread

A 2011 Renault Latitude owner experienced a malfunction with the keyless entry system, with an OBD scanner indicating an error related to the door handle electronics. The issue affected all doors, suggesting a potential wiring or connector problem. Another owner with a similar issue recommended professional diagnosis, which confirmed a wiring issue that was resolved at a workshop.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had something like that on my Latitude. Keyless entry started acting up. Does it happen on all doors, or just one?

Thanks for the reply! It seems to be affecting all the doors. Did you ever determine the root cause? Any specific area I should inspect first?

Yep, it was indeed all doors for me too. Honestly, I didn't get to dig too deep myself. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I had the car checked, and you were right, it was a wiring issue. Ended up costing 95€ to fix at the workshop. Hopefully, this info is useful for others.
