Latitude Mixture Preparation Error
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Latitude diesel with high mileage is experiencing rough running, loss of power, jerking during acceleration, and stalling at idle, accompanied by a 'mixture preparation error.' Initial troubleshooting included cleaning the throttle body, checking for air leaks, and inspecting the mass airflow sensor, but these did not resolve the issue. A suggestion to check the fuel injectors led to the discovery of a faulty injector, which, once replaced, resolved the problem.

Injectors, eh? That's a new one. How did you figure that out? Was it obvious, or did you need some fancy diagnostic gear? And what was the damage to your wallet?

Yeah, it wasn't obvious at first. I messed around with a bunch of stuff based on forum posts and YouTube videos, but nothing fixed it. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, they ran a proper diagnostic test, and it pinpointed the injector. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just get it checked professionally. It'll be quicker and probably cheaper in the long run.

Took your advice and brought it to the workshop. Turns out you nailed it – defective injector on cylinder number 3. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted, but she's running like a dream now. Thanks for the heads-up!

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms on my Latitude. Reduced power, engine light, the whole shebang. Have you looked at the injectors? Mine turned out to be a faulty injector, causing all sorts of havoc with the fuel mixture.
