Leaf Battery Draining Quickly

I will check the battery terminals for corrosion. But can a defective sensor really cause such a heavy battery discharge? Where exactly is the sensor located in the Leaf?

Yes, a faulty sensor can definitely cause excessive battery drain by providing incorrect data to the BMS, leading to over-discharging or preventing proper charging. The sensor's location varies, but given the symptoms, I strongly suggest having it diagnosed professionally at a reputable shop. It cost me around 315€ to repair it.

Thank you very much for your advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop to get it checked as soon as possible. Seems like the battery sensor is the most likely culprit.

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms on my 2018 Volvo XC60. Turned out to be a defective battery sensor causing a parasitic drain. Have you checked the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections? What's the error code?
