Leaf Brake Resistance
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Nissan Leaf owner experienced a resistant brake pedal feel, suspecting issues with the brake system, possibly calipers, worn metal brakes, or brake pads. Another Leaf driver suggested it might be a voltage-related issue, as they had a similar experience. The problem was confirmed to be an undervoltage issue affecting the brake system, which was resolved at a workshop for 240€.

Squeaky brakes? Yes, occasional squeal. Can you elaborate on the voltage issue? Easy fix, or specialized attention needed? How can I tell if it's voltage and not the metal brakes or brake pads?

The squeal, the resistance... sounds like my problem. Best bet is to get it checked out by a workshop. They'll have the tools to properly diagnose the brake system and undervoltage situation.

Thanks for the insight! Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed related to an undervoltage problem affecting the brake system, like you suspected. Repair cost was 240€. All sorted now!

I drive a Leaf too, and that resistance sounds familiar. Squeaky brakes as well? Had something similar, turned out to be voltage related.
