Leaf Central Locking Failure

My 2019 Nissan Leaf (electric) is giving me grief. The central locking has completely konked out. I can't lock or unlock the doors, and I'm getting some kind of error flagged in the system. I checked the fuse box, but nothing seems obviously blown. Could it be the key fob? Or maybe something to do with the keyless entry system, or even the car alarm? Help!

I had a similar central locking issue with my Leaf. Did you check the cable or plug connection of the component? A defective connection is often the culprit in these cases.

Thanks for the tip! Which cable/plug were you referring to, specifically? I'm not super mechanically inclined, so any extra detail would be much appreciated before I start blindly poking around...

Unfortunately, I do not remember the specifics. I took my Leaf to a workshop to get it sorted. Given the diagnostic code you mentioned, it might be best to do the same.

Ugh, I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it seems like you're right. Thanks so much for the advice! I got it checked by a pro, as you suggested. Turns out it was a dodgy connection, exactly as diagnosed! Cost 95€ to get sorted. Nightmare averted. Cheers again!
