Leaf parking aid fault
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Leaf is experiencing a parking aid fault, with the parking assistant completely non-functional and an error stored in the memory. The suspected cause is a potential issue with the radar sensors or a loose plug. A similar issue was resolved by checking connections to the parking assist components, including the control module and possibly the blind spot sensors. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a defective cable, which was fixed at a cost.

Thanks! Where exactly should I be looking for these connections? Is it a pain to get to them or pretty straightforward?

Yeah, sounds like the same thing. Honestly, could be a pain depending on your access. I eventually gave up and had a workshop check it out.

Roger that. Appreciate the confirmation. I'll bite the bullet and schedule a visit. Turns out it was a defective cable, and cost me 95€ to be fixed.

I had a similar issue on my Leaf. Could be a defective cable or plug connection to one of the parking assist components. Worth checking the control module connections too, and maybe even the blind spot sensors if you have them.
