Leaf turn signal faulty
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Leaf is experiencing a faulty turn signal on the driver's side, accompanied by an error message on the speedometer. The bulb appears fine, suggesting the issue may lie elsewhere. Possible causes include a flasher relay issue or an electrical fault, such as a loose or corroded plug connection to the signal lamp. It is suggested to check the plug connection behind the light assembly, but if unsure, consulting a mechanic is advised.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the plug connection located? Is it something I can easily access myself, or will I need to take apart half the car?

It should be accessible behind the light assembly itself. You might need to remove a few screws or clips to get to it, but nothing too major. However, if you're not comfortable poking around with the electrics, it might be best to take it to a workshop. I had a similar issue on another car and it turned out to be a corroded connector. Cost me around 95€ to get fixed.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I'll check the connection, but if I can't figure it out, I'll take it to a mechanic. Sounds like it's not worth risking messing something else up. Thanks again!

That's a strange one. If the bulb looks okay, it could be a flasher relay issue, but I'd lean more towards an electrical fault. Have you checked the plug connection to the signal lamp? Sometimes those can get loose or corroded.
