Lexus CT200h ABS Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Lexus CT200h is experiencing intermittent ABS lamp illumination and traction issues, possibly due to a speed sensor fault. The fuses were checked and found to be fine, but the problem persisted. Error codes indicated a speed signal fault, leading to the diagnosis of a defective control unit. The issue was resolved by replacing the control unit at a repair shop.

Thanks! Yes, I got some error codes. It points to a speed signal fault. Did your Volvo show the same error?

Yep, the error code suggested a defective control unit. Unfortunately, that meant a trip to the shop. I'd advise you to do the same.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was indeed a defective control unit. The repair, including parts and labor, was around 1000€. It’s working fine now!

I had similar symptoms on my 2018 Volvo V60. The speedometer was all over the place, and the ABS was acting up. Did you happen to get any error codes?
