Lexus CT200h Headlight and Windshield Washer Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Lexus CT200h owner experienced issues with both the headlight cleaning and windshield washer systems. The suspected cause was a defective cable connection to the pump or relay. Another owner suggested checking for clogs, kinks, or a blown fuse, as the systems share a pump and reservoir. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be a defective cable connection, which was repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the info. Where exactly are the pump and fuse located? Is it difficult to access them?

While I cannot give you precise locations without consulting the repair manual specifically for your car's model year, typically, the washer pump is near the bottom of the reservoir, often inside the wheel well. The fuse box location should be documented in your owner's manual. Given the potential complexity and electrical involvement, I would recommend a visit to a workshop if you are not comfortable with car electrics.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop. Turns out the cable connection was indeed defective, just like I suspected. The repair cost me 165€. Everything is working properly now.

I had a similar problem with my CT200h a while back. The headlight washers share a pump and reservoir with the windshield washers. Have you checked for any obvious clogs or kinks in the hoses? It might also be a blown fuse affecting the system.
