Thank you for the suggestions. Did your ES exhibit the same symptoms, specifically the stalling at idle and jerking during acceleration? Also, did you investigate the catalytic converter?

Yes, the stalling and jerking were definitely present. I didn't check the catalytic converter myself, but my mechanic mentioned it as a possibility. It turned out to be a defective injector. I'd suggest having a workshop diagnose it properly.

I appreciate the confirmation and advice. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a defective fuel injector. The repair cost was 515€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar issue with my ES. Have you checked the throttle body and oxygen sensor? A faulty air-fuel ratio could also be the culprit. Fuel injection problems can manifest in those symptoms.
