Thanks for your input! By 'driving it for a while,' what exactly do you mean? Should I be driving it in a specific manner? Or is it just general city driving that will solve it?

With my BMW, it just required general driving for a while, like a week or so, before the monitors were 'ready'. However, if it doesn't clear after a decent amount of normal driving, it might be best to take it to a trusted workshop for a computer reset. They can force the monitors to run and complete the checks. Better safe than sorry when it comes to car diagnostics and avoiding potential issues with the exhaust system down the road!

Just wanted to thank you for your advice! Turns out you were spot on! I just needed to drive it a bit more. I got lucky; the computer reset itself. The car is back to normal, and the repairs cost me exactly 0€! Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series after running diagnostics. The onboard computer sometimes throws a fit when it detects changes or resets. It could be related to the exhaust system monitors not being ready. They need to run through a full cycle to clear, which can take a few drive cycles. Have you tried driving it for a while to see if it clears?
