Lexus GS AC Issue
Summary of the thread
The 2017 Lexus GS experienced an AC cooling issue, with fuses confirmed to be fine. A possible cause suggested was a faulty AC pressure switch, which can be located near the compressor or condenser and requires a multimeter for testing. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a defect in individual valves within the AC system, which was resolved at a repair shop.

Thanks! I haven't checked the pressure switch specifically. Where is it located, and is there an easy way to test it without specialized equipment?

Finding the exact location can be tricky without a diagram. It's usually near the compressor or condenser. Testing it properly really needs a multimeter to check for continuity. Based on what you've said, it sounds similar to the valve issue I had. I'd take it to a workshop; they'll diagnose it properly and save you headaches!

Thanks! Took it to the shop and you were spot on! It was a defect in individual valves in the AC system. Cost me about 1000€ to repair, but at least it's fixed. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my GS. Thought it was a refrigerant leak or blower motor at first, because the temperature control wasn't working. Turns out, it was a faulty AC pressure switch. Have you checked that?
