Lexus GS Rough Idle and Fuel Consumption

Hey, I'm having some serious issues with my 2015 Lexus GS gasoline engine. At 246645 km, it's starting poorly, fuel consumption is way up, and the engine feels like it's lost a lot of power. Plus, it idles really rough, sometimes even stalls. I'm suspecting a misfire, maybe due to dirty injectors? Anyone else had this?

I had similar symptoms with my GS. Have you checked the emissions? High fuel consumption and rough idling could point to a fuel delivery issue, potentially clogging in the injection system.

Emissions are definitely worse than before. Did you manage to solve this yourself, or did you end up taking it to a workshop?

I tried some fuel injector cleaner first, but that didn't fully resolve the problem. Eventually, I had to take it to a mechanic. They confirmed it was a defective injection nozzle.

Thanks for the info! I took it to my local mechanic, and, sure enough, you were right, it was the injection nozzle. Quoted me 515€ for the repair. Ouch. But at least I know what the issue is now!
