Lexus GS Sporadic Errors

I've got a head-scratcher with my 2009 Lexus GS gasoline. 138163 km on the clock. Driving mode errors, random warning lamps, audio/nav system failing, and control units going dark sometimes. There's an error stored. Could this be a faulty BUS system connection? Anyone seen anything like this?

Sounds familiar. I have a GS too. Are the failures consistent, or completely random? I'm curious if it might be a loose connection somewhere; that was my initial thought when I had something similar.

Thanks! Random is definitely the word. One day it's fine, the next it's like a Christmas tree of warning lights. If it was a connection issue, where did you find the problem? Or did you just hand it over to a shop?

I didn't want to mess anything up, so I decided to take it straight to the workshop. They were able to identify the issue quickly. The error code pointed them to the bus connection of the control unit. They said the cable connection of the control unit was defective. I would suggest doing the same.

Appreciate the advice. I'll get it booked in for a proper check. I suppose paying 155€ is better than bricking the whole system. Thanks again!
