Lexus GS Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

Visually, the tires appear fine; no obvious punctures or sidewall damage. The pressure is only marginally lower than recommended across all tires, maybe 0.1-0.2 bar. It seems unlikely that such a small pressure loss would cause these dramatic symptoms. Did you find the pressure loss to be similarly minor in your case?

Yes, exactly! The pressure difference was minimal, almost negligible. The sensors are incredibly sensitive. My issue turned out to be a defective valve in one of the tires, causing a slow leak. Given the ABS involvement and steering issues, I'd strongly recommend taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose the sensor and ABS system properly.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Based on your description, it seems likely that a defective tire valve is the culprit. I will bring it to a local mechanic tomorrow. After close inspection it turned out that you were right. The valve in one of the tires had a minor defect, which caused the described symptoms. After replacing the valve the tire the issue was resolved. The repair cost me 280€. Appreciate the insight!

That sounds eerily similar to what I experienced with my 2018 Volvo S90. The ABS and stability control systems seemed to go haywire whenever the tire pressure sensor acted up. Was like driving a boat in choppy waters. Have you checked for any signs of a punctured tire or any visible damage to the tires themselves? What does your tire gauge tell you?
