Lexus GX Coolant Level Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Lexus GX hybrid is experiencing a persistent low coolant level and a check engine light with an error code. Despite inspecting the coolant reservoir and hoses, no leaks are visible. A potential cause could be a faulty radiator cap that isn't sealing properly, leading to coolant evaporation. Checking and possibly replacing the radiator cap is suggested as a solution.

About the radiator cap, what did you notice? Was it broken, or was it not holding pressure?

It looked fine, but it wasn't sealing properly. Coolant was slowly evaporating. It might be worth getting yours checked out.

I had the cooling system checked. It turned out the coolant was low. A refill cost 52€.

That's interesting. I had a similar issue with my old 2018 Volvo XC60. The coolant would drop for no reason, and the warning light would come on. Did you check the radiator cap?
