Could you be more specific about which speed sensor connections I should be inspecting? And where I might find them? I'm not that familiar with the GX's component layout.

On my Volvo, the relevant sensor was located near the wheel hub. Given the Lexus is a different make, I would advise taking it to a trusted workshop to avoid damaging anything. They can properly diagnose the sensor connections, pedal switch, or throttle position to ensure everything is working as it should.

I had a mechanic check the cable and plug connections, and they found a defective connection. The repair cost 95€. Thanks for your help.

I had a similar problem with my 2012 Volvo V60. My cruise control also stopped working, and it turned out to be a faulty connection. Did you check the speed sensor connections? Those can sometimes become loose or corroded.
