Lexus GX Fresh Air Blower Failure

Hey, I'm having an issue with my 2022 Lexus GX with a gasoline engine. The fresh air blower isn't working at all! The fan speed controller seems dead, and I'm not getting any air conditioning or heat. Basically, the blower motor just doesn't work, and I've got an error stored. I'm pretty sure it's a defective blower motor. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried about the cost to fix it.

Ugh, that sucks! I had the exact same problem with my old Volvo. The cabin fan just quit. Is yours making any noise at all, or is it completely silent? If it's silent, that really points to the motor being shot. Could also be the HVAC system, but I'm no expert.

Yeah, silent is bad. On my Volvo, it was the blower motor for sure. I'd say get it checked out by a workshop. Don't risk messing with the electrics yourself, especially with the error codes popping up.

Okay, thanks so much for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right – it was a defective blower motor. Cost me 365€ to replace it, but at least it's fixed now!
