Thanks for the reply! No noise at all – completely silent. So you're saying it's probably the heater fan motor itself? How did you fix it on your Volvo? Was it an expensive repair?

Yeah, silent is bad. On my Volvo, it was the blower motor for sure. I'd say get it checked out by a workshop. Don't risk messing with the electrics yourself, especially with the error codes popping up.

Okay, thanks so much for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right – it was a defective blower motor. Cost me 365€ to replace it, but at least it's fixed now!

Ugh, that sucks! I had the exact same problem with my old Volvo. The cabin fan just quit. Is yours making any noise at all, or is it completely silent? If it's silent, that really points to the motor being shot. Could also be the HVAC system, but I'm no expert.
