Lexus GX Parking Heater Issue

Alright Lexus gurus, I'm pulling my hair out here. I've got a 2023 Lexus GX hybrid with just 28688 km on the clock. The parking heater refuses to fire up! I'm getting an error stored in the memory, but no specific code. I've checked the fuses, coolant level seems fine, and the ventilation system is working normally. Any ideas before I throw in the towel and take it to the dealer? I'm starting to suspect a coolant leak somewhere, even though I can't see anything obvious. This heat control system is driving me nuts!

Whoa, weird. I had a similar gremlin with the auxiliary heater on my GX. I'm not sure about yours being a hybrid but I wonder if it could be the glow plug? Is the blower motor working properly otherwise?

Glow plug, huh? That's interesting. I haven't looked into that specifically. How did you figure out it was the glow plug? Did you have similar symptoms? I'm desperate for any clues at this point.

Well, the symptoms sound familiar. I'm no mechanic, but after some digging online, I found other GX owners with the same problem. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, they checked the error memory, and the culprit was a defective glow plug. Honestly, just get it checked out before you start spending a ton of time.

Okay, that's enough for me to get it checked by a professional, I'll see if the glow plug is defective and I'll let you know. Thank you for the suggestion! The estimate is 440€.
