Lexus IS Cold Start Issue

I'm experiencing a frustrating cold start issue with my 2005 Lexus IS gasoline engine. It only has 55690 km on the clock. During the cold start phase, the engine runs very poorly. Starting the vehicle itself is difficult. I suspect it might be a faulty cold start injector. Has anyone experienced similar fuel delivery or rough idle problems? I've been reading about possible issues with the fuel rail and fuel injection system in general. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Woah, sounds nasty! Could be a clogged injector messing with the fuel mix. Is it throwing any codes?

Thanks for the quick response! No, there aren't any error codes showing up on the diagnostics tool. Could a partially defective injector cause these cold start problems without triggering a code?

Hmm, tricky one without codes. Yeah, a partially blocked or failing injector could definitely cause poor cold starts and rough running. Time to get it checked by a pro methinks!

Thanks! I appreciate the help. I took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was a defective cold start injector. Repair cost me 515€, but the car runs perfectly now!
