Lexus IS infotainment smartphone connection

Thanks for the suggestions! I've tried deleting and re-pairing my phone several times without success. The phone definitely sees the car, but the connection fails. Where exactly would I find the fuse for the infotainment system? Is it something easily accessible, or do I need special tools?

The fuse box location should be in your owner's manual – usually under the dash or in the engine compartment. The manual will also have a diagram showing which fuse is for the infotainment system. It's typically a simple blade fuse, so no special tools needed to check it, just a fuse puller if you have one or a pair of pliers. Still, if it's not the fuse, and you've already tried the basic pairing steps, that error code could indicate a deeper problem. Might be worth getting it scanned at a workshop to pinpoint the issue exactly.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'll check the fuse first. If that doesn't solve it, I'll take it to a workshop. It was just an incorrect pairing with the end device. Cost me 45€ to get it sorted.

Could be a few things. First, have you tried deleting the phone from the car's system and re-pairing it? Sometimes old pairings can cause conflicts. Also, double-check your phone's Bluetooth settings to make sure it's discoverable and not blocking the Lexus. If that doesn't work, it might be worth checking the fuse for the infotainment system. Beyond that, it's hard to say without more info.
