Yeah, I inflated the tires and checked for punctures. Nothing obvious. The warning light came back on after a short drive. Could it be a faulty tire sensor?

That's exactly what it was for me. Turned out to be a defective valve in one of the tire sensors. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Defective tire valve sensor. Repair cost was 280€. Appreciate the help!

Wow, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series. Same symptoms – low tire pressure light triggering the ABS and affecting the steering. Did you check for a flat or any obvious damage to the tires?
